1. What Reassess is — and is not

Reassess is an informational tool that reads property tax assessment notices and explains, in plain language, what they say and what the publicly published appeal procedures are. Reassess is not a law firm, does not provide legal, tax, or appraisal advice, and no attorney-client, accountant-client, or appraiser-client relationship is created by using it. Outputs are information about your document and published rules — your decisions, filings, and deadlines remain your responsibility.

2. Accuracy and deadlines

Assessment procedures, deadlines, and fees vary by jurisdiction and change. We seed our rules from official sources with last-verified dates, and we extract dates printed on your document — but OCR and extraction can err, and counties can change rules mid-season. Always confirm deadlines and procedures with your county before relying on them. You agree we are not liable for missed deadlines or filing outcomes. 3. The appeal package

The paid appeal package ($25 flat) consists of document templates, checklists, and organizational worksheets generated from information you provide. It is self-help material, not a filing service: we do not file anything on your behalf, do not represent you, and do not guarantee any outcome. 4. Acceptable use

Upload only documents you have the right to use. No automated scraping of the service, no attempts to extract other users' data (there is none stored, but still), no use of outputs to misrepresent facts to any government body.

5. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
